The Media Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, NCSR “Demokritos” (http://www.medianetlab.gr) is seeking collaboration with an Research Assistant in the frame of EU-funded research projects in the fields of Mobile Application Development

Position 1: Software Engineer and Developer

Professional skills required:
• Two years experience in Java software development
• Experience in application development for Android or iOS.

Education:
• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
• MSc in Computer Science
Generic Skills:
• Fluent use of Greek and English
• Proficient reporting skills

Also appreciated:
• Experience in developing SIP applications.
• Web applications development (HTML5, WebRTC)
• Experience in developing Cloud Applications (OpenSource APIs)

Position 2: Network Engineer

Professional skills required:
• Proficient in Linux Environment
• Proficient in Network Programming
• CCNA certification or equivalent
• Fluent use of Greek and English

Education:

• MSc in Computer Science or Telecommunications
Generic Skills:
• Fluent use of Greek and English
• Proficient reporting skills

Also appreciated:
• Experience in network management
• Experience in management of Cloud Computing infrastructures
• Experience in programmable networks (e.g Openflow)
• CCNA Security certification or expertise in VPN networks
